QolHub — Rental Property Platform for Boorama
Rental marketplace that connects property owners with students, families and visitors looking for a house or a room in Boorama. Owners list an entire house or spare rooms, an admin approves listings, and tenants search by district and type, request bookings and message the owner. Full-stack Next.js app with MongoDB, role-based dashboards (admin, owner, tenant) and email verification.

Problem
Finding a house or a spare room in Boorama is done by word of mouth; students and visitors have no single place to search, and owners have no easy way to advertise.
Features
• Listings for an entire house/apartment or available rooms in an occupied house, with photos, price, rooms, amenities and district.
• Search and filter by district and property type; property detail page with owner contact and booking request.
• Three roles: owners manage listings and bookings; admins approve/reject listings and manage users; tenants track their booking requests.
• Admin moderation flow: every listing is pending until approved; rented listings auto-expire.
• Secure auth with JWT cookies, email verification and image uploads.
Stack: Next.js 16 App Router, React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS 4, MongoDB + Mongoose, Zod validation, Nodemailer.
